I think the quality, as usual, depends on the year of manufacture. I just received this tiny little guy in stag. Obviously older, but I'm not sure exactly how old, guessing 70's or 80's? Weirdest thing is the "INOX" stamp is curved slightly, like a sunset, instead of straight across. The build quality is very impressive, closes centered, locks open with no blade play at all!! Very ingenious illusion as well, the bolsters & liners are made of one solid piece of brass which is nickel plated only on the bolster portions, the "liner" edges are left unplated (or plating buffed away?) for the effect of brass lined with seperate nickel silver bolsters...all this in a dainty, almost microscopic size pulls it off well. The button looks to be solid nickel silver and is firm to press, you have to use the very tip of your thumb, I would even call it keychain & earring friendly!! Still not much of an edge though.
