huh looks pretty nifty for forty bucks that aint bad either probably wouldnt hold up to much abuse though.Maye ill give it a shot but then again most of Shrades are made in China now so that is a huge turnoff to me

its got a cool factor for looks but I wonder about lock up ,I agree with Grim though being made in china is a turn off,Id be willing to pay the extra $ for it being made here.

Having the side open like that looks like it would let a lot of pocket lint and such in.

I'm in cincinnati right now and there's a wholesale knife shop across the river. I'm going there today for some stuff.I'll see if they have this shcrade and buy it. we'll see if it's anything to brag about.

talked to the owner of the knife shop. he said the schrade rep was there a couple days ago with the new knives but he didn't get any.he said it was a s/a like a halo. if I woulda been a few days early he woulda got a couple for me.

As to legal that depends on where you live. Smokey Mountain does NOT sell autos and they are selling this since it is assisted opening. They sell side opening assisted openers in NY and every one has a different opinion as to wheter or not they are legal....
