$1500 for something sharp, stabby and clicky.

Post by Milu »

If you had a budget of $1,500 to spend on things sharp, stabby and clicky, what would you get? A custom? several ProTechs? An antique? Lots of bolster releases?

My choices would be

A Woodard Fer de Lance.

A damascus and stag Z Mcarthy pocket auto

Dalton trailwalker

Joe Whalen scale release pocket auto

What would everyone else's wish list be?

hmmm , would be tough to decide ,but the Macarthy z would be right up there at the top of the list. Maybe a Mike Whiskers Allen ,P.L.P. frosolone , or one of the custom protechs.

Smart choice would be buying a C.N.C. machine and making my own.

A Picklock Pat or Burn. Um...economy models, probably.
or...
A Straydog and a J.A.C.
or...
Enough Protechs to re-enact the W.C. Fields segment of the old movie If I Had a Million, only with EDC knives instead of Ford Model A cars.

A Burn, probably this one http://www.burnknives1.com/diamondseries4.html, but maybe one from the skull
series also.

A full tank of gas....

I have always wanted a converted Case copperlock and maybe a custom little fish in stag from Pat.

If I had $1500, I'd add another $1000 to it and get this:

One of these: A 15" Maltese Cross, pre-ban Ivory picklock by Arlen "Slo-Joe" Walker and then the Picklock Pat I already have on order (top secret).
