Eugene Oregon show

Post by James »

Hi Folks:

I am going to the Eugene show this year for the fourth time. I was wondering if anybody on the forum has a table at the show? Are there many of you going? It is a great show but prices are a bit high if you are buying. I find it easy to sell knives you bring in or do some trading.

Thanks
James

I'm planning on going up there myself this year. It will be my first time. I'm looking mostly for older American knives, such as Schrade, Imperial and the like. In the past, has there been a pretty good selection of older knives?

I know there are some tables with a lot of the older US made auto's but I don't really spend much time looking at them. There are so many custom auto's and most of the brands are pretty well represented. I should say all but Daltons. The Italian stuff is all over and if you have any you want to sell they go fast.

Thanks

Mr. James,

It's an amazing place. Usually there's a gun show going on next door as well. Nothing like killing 2 birds at the same time. Most of my time is spent looking at the collections not for sale. The Boy Scout display is nothing short of awesome. 500 tables, lots of deals to be made.

Best regards,

Bonz

A shame you haven't been there while living in Eugene for 4 years: it's a great show!!! This year is April 11-13. Here you can find all the information:

Wish I could go...

Since I can't get out to Oregon, gonna settle for seeing the gun and knife show at the fairgrounds this weekend. They do this every 3 months or so and I never went figuring it would be pretty lame. I might as well go pay 5 buck dollars to find out I reckon. :)

I've never been before, but I won't miss this one.

Gents, if anyone on this list will attend, please let me know. While I am a collector and not a commercial type, I would love to meet you all. Further, fishbowls of beverages will be on me.

Best,
Kevin Preston

Greetings to all,
I'll be making a run to the redwoods just in time for the show. This will be my 4th. Mickey & Angelo are the ones that really made this show a hit. It hasn't been the same since the "troubles"!

PS Mickey....hope to see you in the islands!!

I loved the google map link to Maniago....great memories my friend.

Mr. Crmnal,

Ah, nothing like getting away from the soup kitchen for a spell :P ! Give me a jingle when you make it around Eureka. I'm running a public works job there and stay in Trinidad during the week. I'll even spring for a few Great Whites at the Lost Coast Brewery.

Best regards,

Bonz
