Introducing...

Post by Fishtail Picklock »

The one and only, Fishtail Picklock! (me.) I'm glad to be here and love a great automatic. My favorite is the Fishtail Picklock Automatic! (Surprise, surprise.)

I want a 10" Burn Inc handmade Italian-type Fishtail Picklock. It MUST have real horn handles and a clip-point blade made of D-2 "tool" steel. This is going to be a "working" knife. Not a showpiece.

Toys are great, but this is going to be a REAL cutting implement, not a "toad stabber."

Again, its great to be here!

Scott :D

Just bought another GREAT "automatic!"

Post by Fishtail Picklock »

Ladies and Gentlemen: I just sent my Money Order off for a Buck 110 Converted to full-automatic. it may not seem like an "impressive" blade, but it will be another real "worker bee."

I am planing to work as an Immigration Inspector within 6 months. As such, I'm planning to have an entire series of automatic knives to accompany my "other" arms.

This "aquisition" will be an excellent backup to my duty weapon(s).

I am going to enjoy this forum for years to come!

I've got a Buck 110 DA conversion with a hidden blade release being made for me by an un-named person. You can torture me but I won't tell you who it is. 8)

I collect springblades but I carry my "thumbers."

Welcome Fishtail Piclock. Fishtails are nice switchs, but in my opinion not a very solid work knife. I would stick to the Buck or an American made auto, maybe a Spyderco or an Emerson for starters.

welcome mr fishtail picklock,

you'll get all the advice you wish you never had here!

i would have to agree with the last two members, and suggest you put your "burn" picklock into a display case, and get yourself a microtech, or a kershaw or a dozen others for your EDC....
