Are those genuine FN-FALs or clones? I always liked their style. A bit like the HK-91, all business and built rock solid!

Peace.

I always liked them too but the price of the ammo for them was to much for me. I remember the days when you could buy 7.62X39 for $99 a 1000 rounds shipped.

Both BELGIUM. BRAZIL AND AMERICAN.have been into them since 1973 era.Along with everything else. Will have a few for sale this weekend at SAR show in phx. They always sell.but not for everybody because of price. And yes sammy 7.62x51 now is overa buck a round.you can't go out like the old days anymore and pop off a 1,000 rds anymore. After the 15 year layoff from blades.I am glad i am back.and less dough for those.RON K.

Couple of nice lookers for sure. It's funny, I always have liked wood furniture on such rifles, just looks more sophisticated to me than the tactical black look. Back in the proverbial day, I chased down a set for the HK-91. May or may not have added a bit of weight but it seemed to add a note of class to the rifle.

Good luck at the show, I'm sure they'll go quick.

Back in the day when I was shooting every weekend I could get a thousand rounds of 7.62X39 for the ak delivered for $99.95 but those days are long gone. I could get 1600 rounds of Norinco brass 223 for $169.95 delivered. Felt like heaven!

Kinda got out of shooting these days but that stuff used to be cheap cheap cheap! Look at center-fire systems, I think. They used to carry it. That's where I used to but a bunch of ammo.

Yeah, through the past few years I've bought a few boxes of Magpul 5.56 mags every now and then. Just in case. I'm waiting for the day when these crazies manage to get mags over 20 or even 10 round capacity banned. Can't trust them to be level-headed in Washington any more. It's all reactive politics these days, with a smattering of hysteria. Same sort of mentality that resulted in auto knives being banned in the 50s.
