Like Bill said. Stilettos have a slight lead, but they're both very cool - as opposed to leverlocks which I am not so wild about, and OTF's which are mostly junk.

Swingers sound great! I like them both! They're both very similar. A different question/poll might get better results like stiletto vs. leverlock or otf, etc.

Stiletto by far for me, but as far as user knives, the lever lock or a Microtech OTF.

I prefer the unique and slightly more extravagant look of a swinguard. As far as users go, I'm a balisong type of guy.

I like the looks of the traditional Italian Stiletto, but prefer the sound of a Swing Guard...

I like both, but for carry, i'd take the sleekness of the swinger, i feel it has less chance of getting stuck in ya pocket cause of the guards.

Also I feel that they have more of a impressive factor when opened. People have seen traditional stilettos in moves and possibly shops, but the swinguard is more unique.

So when you go to open it in-front of your buddies to cut a piece of twine or something it's just more interesting.

Basically, not to stereotype but in my experience people usually have different opinion of the two

A basic stiletto tends to make people think wannabe punk or badass (at least in my age group)
A nice swinguard (especially a medici) instead says elegant and suave
