Mr. S.C.,
JEEZ!
It was an innocent question - I didn't mean to single you outness, set ya offness, or damage your psyche! Alas, I can't keep track of everyone who gets hosed!
Iff'n you think $38 buck dollars is a good price for a Scarab clone, it's fine with me! Mr. j.a.c. is right - It all depends on how badly you want it... I just wanted to know who you bought it from so I can stay away...
Just now saw your edit - Thank you!

Have you hugged a Bear today?
Have you hugged a Bear today?
There's one otf that I wish would re-appear.
I'd love to aquire another one of the Halo clones that were around a while ago.
Those are some of the meanest looking knives I ever saw.
They work very well, too.
Now the design is not terribly practical, since it takes two hands to close them-and that's a sure case of loss in an emergency, as you'll have the throw it away.
Still, for day to day, it's really pretty good.
The Scarab is far superior, because it's also auto close.
And as for the Black Finger-you'd be surprised how sturdy they really are.
I used one daily, when I was still a copper, for years, used it hard, used it a lot, and it was still going strong when it got stolen.
They aren't tight, but they do work.
The single edge is better for utility, however.

Nyuk,Nyuk,Nyuk, all in fun Mr Jerr, all in fun......I called the crisis center, and they talked me out of hurting myself ( although I probably shouldn't joke about stuff like that..statistics prove this is the worst time of the year for that type thing, and my apologies to the entire board ). I didn't really think you singled me out and were just trying to get the name out of me, but they deserve a browse, as they are competitive on some things, i.e. Taiwan 'germany stainless' natos @ 2/25, but pricey on others. For me, shipping has always been discrete, secure, and timely.
Guess I'm into the eggnog and hammin' it up a little early this year. Just trying to get in on y'all's act.

If your looking for the utx clone , Capt Chuck has em at T.K.A.scottsboy wrote:So who has them?
(I noticed the prices are going up fast)
If your looking for the scarab clone , you'll be hard pressed to find one ,unless someone has one in their private collection.
The second run (improved button) vanished quickly , and I haven't seen one any where for quite some time.
The daoye , china made clone , I got off ebay , it's just like the scarab clone but in silver with the daoye emblem on it.(excess blade play ,but built like a tank )
The seller I bought from is out of them ,but I saw one listed yesterday .
The bad news is the seller is from china , and want 15.oo for shipping ,and you'll wait for the proverbial .... slow boat to get here.

Disregard the link -- ebay pulled it , shortly after I posted the link.

Halo Clone Still Available....
I will pick some up at the show this weekend from a buddy of mine, I'll check to see if he has any UXT & Scarab also....
Keep a eye on my website for them, I will give forum members a better price than what knives are marked..Of course!
