Greetings..

"Wandy" is quite a well-known tang stamp among collectors... how much it's worth I don't know.. nor do I know how much trouble it would be to straighten out... but it was probably made in the 50's ... not in the 60's as the seller thinks... it's certainly collectable..

Wandy was an importers' name. The knives were made by the Mauro Mario consortium (Angelo Campolin, Sr.)

by the way mpr933 - that's a really nice knife there - looks in great shape!

it just might be a "true" transitional too, it looks like it's got NS bolsters, and very nice rear scale!!! you should ask the seller if the liners are "D" punched or not...i paid about $85 for a no name one not as nice (except for that nasty gap) that's 6 1/4"....i still think that one might be a tad overpriced, but those little ones are hard to find....if only he shipped to canada :evil: (lucky for me :x )

that's just my two cents...
