Re: Forum Knife

Some of you guys are way to nice...When someone says they will do something, I hold them to it. The delays in production probably can't be helped, but I am sick and tired of Arthas saying he will do something in a time frame and not following through. I can show you numorous instances throughout th...

It will probably be remembered as the longest production time for a forum knife... ;)

Hey, I may make it back to Maniago again before I get the knife!

Re: Forum Knife

However, I'm still irked that Missouri dropped the line in the knife law this summer that allowed for the collection of auto knives. I did meet a state rep. last week who told me to send her the details about the law change.

Yep, neither CA or MASS understand the fact of life that a guy needs to carry a gun to protect his knives!

Re: Forum Knife

If it's a choice, I'd rather have the Zuava blade than the #.

Re: My FB Limited Edition Swinguard Damascus

I have 4 Frank B. Damascus stilettos. There seems to be a lot of variation in the amount of etching done on the blades. 2 of my knives have very deeply etched, very textured Damascus while the other two are very subtle, smooth damascus blades.

Re: Limited Edition 2011 Damascus Swing Guard by Frank Beltr

Beautiful knife John! The bone really shows off the damascus. When I ordered mine from Frank, i considered getting the bone but I already have a number with bone. I'm visiting my sister in Biddeford Pool, Maine so I won't be able to check whether mine with the filework has shown up for another 10 da...

Re: New Missouri Switchblade Law

I spent this evening reading both the existing law and the new law. They almost read the same except, while the exception for curios, ornaments, or keepsakes is essentially the same for both bills, in the new law it definitely omits switchblades under the items eligible for the exemptions. I did tal...

Re: New Missouri Switchblade Law

Not being a lawyer I am trying to make sense of the new law. I did discover that under the new law possession of a switchblade is a class A misdemeanor rather than a felony as I previously stated. I also do not see a Missouri definition of a switchblade but instead it references the federal law unde...

Re: New Missouri Switchblade Law

I wonder if spring assisted knives are legal to carry before and after the change? Mike Depends on who you ask. Under the old law I asked a friend on the Creve Coeur Police Dept. about assisted knives. He checked with their legal dept. and told me that they considered them switchblades. He then tol...

New Missouri Switchblade Law

Recently Missouri passed a new law favorable for firearms and ammunition and lowering the age for acquiring a CCW license. What I just learned from Blade Switcher is that the law also changes the existing knife law starting on August 24 making possession of a switchblade a Class A felony, period. Th...

Re: When To Say When......!

Interesting Mike, I bought my first stilettos in 1965 at a little shop off St. Mark's Square in Venice. Then in April this year after spending a couple of days in Maniago where I visited with knifemakers Octavio Massaro, Vittorio Centa, Angelo Campolin and Armando & Frank Beltrame, I stopped in Veni...
