Re: Any input on the New Buck 110 Autos?

Re: swedge blade derby bolster age please
I never seen one w the rivet marks inside the ears like that.do i see a lil tab on top or the bolster looks folded over.
Mr jackalope knows far more about this stuff than i do.
Ive never seen a derby like that.its really interesting.i guess the top bolster is pinned and soldered to a liner.

Re: Any input on the New Buck 110 Autos?
I have a couple different version of the 110 buck conversions.they're pretty usefuf for an everyday carry imo and its kinda inconspicuous as people have been wearing em round here on their belt forever.

Re: swedge blade derby bolster age please
This is definetly a 60s derby bolster.it looks to have cowhorn scales.the short swedge, the pressed steel stepbolsters w the tab under the gaurds on the inside& the tb construction reminds me of the all metal bobc from italy but the lack of attention to details, says japanese.im on the fence on this o...

Re: Italian Kris Automatic knives (the question is inside).
In the age of conceled carry,.knife to a gunfight comes to mind..not to mention gettin caught w switchblade or brass knucks,.you look crazy w a weapon. A nice leverlock would be more useful.and explainable as a pocketknive to da police if it comes to it...somebody's Always gotta explain it to the co...

Re: 13" Lizard import

Different people have different size hands, if. Got sm hands a 13" is like a sword.if ya got big hands a 9" is like a toothpick.diffent sizes means theres something for everyone.+ they were toys to the old guys.they were counting on us americans being enamored with them and collecting all the sizes ...

Re: Hubertus with tang and springer stamps
My understanding is that the tang stamped Hubies were made from 1955 - 1972. Heed Bill's advice. You have a desirable knife. It can be rescaled. If you don't feel comfortable doing it, Bill DeShivs will do a fantastic job. Others do great work as well. Jim John is a hell of a mechanic, mangler.i kno...
