Re: Arcos OTF. Info

I have a chance to pick it up, but heard the mechanism is fragile on these knives. Just looking too see if someone who has one, has a opinio...

Switchblade Confiscation

Hi Gang, cherokee99 had a post "need a display case for my collection." http://www.talkblade.info/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=24250 (I hope I linked this correctly) And I had responded my opinion to "Display" or not to "Display," with a story about stolen/confiscation of my brothers OTF. If you have any sto...

Re: Switchblade collector’s etiquette and philosophy

I have had the extreme pleasure of meeting a select few in person, but most of them are just on my bucket list of hopefuls. Like any group of friends, we bitch about various situations, who acted like a jerk, who is a true gentleman. Some of us are well educated and play that down rather than lordi...

Re: need a display case for my collection.

Just food for thought, I have always been torn on displaying or not displaying. Re: VINTAGE AUTOS FOR SALE

I'm not sure if this helps, but if he sent you guys an invoice through "Pay Pal" and you paid with "Pay Pal," and did not receive your stuff. I think "Pay Pal" will see if there was a shipping label created and track the package. As far as I know "Pay Pal" will issue you a refund and go after the se...

Re: Origin of the Kris switchblade

Just my observation, the Kris blade always reminded me of the "Italian Horn" The cornuto, corno, or cornicello is an Italian amulet of ancient origin. Corno means "horn" and cornicello means "little horn" -- these names refer to a long, gently twisted horn-shaped amulet worn in Italy to protect agai...

I can't figure out how this one works.

Hi Gang, I came across these photos surfing the web. I can't figure out how this one works, when the blade is closed I assume the spring stretches. What I'm confused on is when the blade is folded closed, it looks like the spring would bind up, another words not enough room for the spring to move wi...
