Re: Looking for a Latama
Just a suggestion, but the Walt's Latamas are made by Frank B. And will likely be in production for a long while. The 10 & 11 Frosolones are from Angelo Campolin and Renzo Pascutto, made like vintage, and very limited production. If you don't get one now, you will be trying to buy them off collector...

Andrea Santini shows how to cut a scale
Comments below photo. http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/xx296/dnlsause/Blades/andreascale.jpg I stole this picture from Andrea's Facebook post, and noticed a couple of things that I wanted to comment on. Thanks, Andrea, I hope you don't mind. First, it appears that he did the narrow cut for the saf...

It's supposed to look like this. I just linked to the three images in your photobucket, which are almost the same shot. http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/r551/samgearhart25/Mobile%20Uploads/20140315_205254_zps2c2373f1.jpg http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/r551/samgearhart25/Mobile%20Uploads/2014...

Yeah, even an $80 pocket digital does a decent job if it's on a tripod and has tons of light.R.H wrote:don't have a decent camera at the time, just the crappy laptop cam, here tis. with another set I got off the site from scotty00.(thanks bud) I need to buy a damn camera instead of knives.

You need to shoot them in daylight, so dark that you can't tell anything.
Edited: nice, I think.

John does a rescale for ILikeStillettos
It's funny how these things come about. My friend Ericzs1 and I have been talking on the phone and exchanging emails for a couple months now and have become friends. He purchased a set of mammoth molar scales which were around 2" wide. He sawed them in half to make two sets of slabs, outsides and in...

9" George Cameron Dagger in Cinnamon Giraffe Bone
This is on the way to me, so I am using George's pictures. http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/xx296/dnlsause/Blades/DSC_7871.jpg As you can see it's bottomless and a hollow ground dagger. http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/xx296/dnlsause/Blades/DSC_7873.jpg This is one of two sets from my first orde...

Re: WTB 11" or 13" ROSCO Manual Bayonet Any Condition
I saw a 13 on there today. Small world, he said it's the one you sold him. Didn't buy that one, but did buy 13" Romo falsie from him, pics later after I am on a real computer instead of this Android tab. Also, my apologies to follow. Re: WTB 11" or 13" ROSCO Manual Bayonet Any Condition
Yep, there is a 13" there if anyone wants a pristine friction lock with lovely patina on the scales ... only $225.
When I said any condition, I meant any poor condition so I can get it restored. That knife looks too good to me, it looks like it's already been restored.
