Stereo Toilet
I'm sitting here bored in the nursing home. Looks like another 3 weeks at least.. . .stillon antibiotics. I listen to music on a laptop with no ear buds. And I found out that if you place your laptop on the portable bedside toilet, it becomes an "Echo / Reverb' chamber. And i thought , it's been so ...

Re: Some people!
I've had the "more power" thing said to me. I have to tell them, if you install a killer kickspring in a vintage repair. . . it's going to self destruct in 20 openings or less. . . . Just be happy you are not picking the blade out from closed with a paper clip. It's like putting Nitrous in an old ch...

Re: Hellraiser
As I recall, there were two styles, ( not counting red and green versions ) There was this version with fixed guard . . . And a swing-guard version. . . This was one of those knives I wanted but never bought, I knew they are flimsy like a Rizzuto. I have a similar manual folder sold by Halcion. . . ...

Re: Movie flintlock bayonet switchblade
Been away from home 46 days now, still have not put on pants or underwear. Just signed up for another 4 weeks in the nursing home. $1400.00 room / food/ WiFi & Cable TV but no Meds and Dry goods/bandages etc. It's 2:18 am and everything hurts so much I can't sleep. Watching "Train Your Dragon" carto...

Re: Movie flintlock bayonet switchblade
I love the TV series Sharpe's rifles (all the Sharpe's Honour, etc.) I figured it was a studio prop. In some scenes there are rows of soldiers holding rifles, and if you stop / freeze frame and look close some of the fake rifles are so ridiculous. My late father , back in the 1920's collected arrowh...

Re: Taiwanese rehab
Why you have a hollow rivet for a pivot pin. This knife is designed as a throw-away utility knife. People will scrape and pry with the blade, not baby it. The bolsters are thin metal. . . much like an early Shure-Snap. The hollow rivet will keep the liners pinched tightly to the blade. The bolsters ...

Re: Edge Company auto kit
DO NOT BUILD IT . . . . . It's a $60 - $70 knife . . .I am not an authorized value assessor. But it's a $150 unassembled Kit. Maybe more to a fanatical collector. It would be even more if it was an early kit with wood scales and brass bolsters. I think I have two unassembled Edge Co NATO OTF kits. A...

Re: Steel Liners
When you consider American made switchblades like Schrade with steel liners. Back in the pre-stainless days. I suppose steel was a cheaper material than brass. While Schrade would have had a huge material stockpile for production runs, I would think the cottage industry in Italy was more of a "month...

Jerryk25 is back online- almost.
Hello everyone, I'm back online, sort of. in a very limited way. I'm on a borrowed laptop in a nursing facility. I don't have any of my passwprds. I'm pretty drugged up, and sleepy. Dec 7, I was feeling sick and had extreme leg pains. I'm mostly bedriddden and have keloid skin on my legs. I had an i...
