You need a shot of the spine. Otherwise people will think it has gaps you are concealing.

Re: OKAPI Conversion

To Whom It May Concern: Despite warnings and polite requests to stop stirring up stuff, RoadsideImports and his joined at the hip buddy Ruben Knives continued on that path and were given a 30 day suspension. However, to prove their disdain for this forum, and to demonstrate their cleverness, they c...

Re: Addiction Acquired

Go on SD and look for the word "snootrus" - that will lead you to Killbucket's fabulous work. Also look for "Cameron". I have seen you promote Killbuckets work a few times here. But it can be misleading to new collectors to recommend an amature under the guise of professional work. While I understa...

Re: Addiction Acquired

Some of us also collect guns and/or muscle cars and/or gemstone skulls and/or guitars and/or motorcycles ... One guy showed me he had over 100 15" knives plus all the others ...

Nobody ever said one addiction precludes another.

Re: Most influential movies for ban?

What top three movies would you say had the most influence in pushing the 1958 ban? For example, I think 12 Angry Men would be one of them. What would you say? I would think that it wasn't necessarily the ones that featured switchblades that caused the ban but rather it was the movies that were abo...

Re: Andrea Santini shows how to cut a scale

By the way, I wasn't trying to use your words as a springboard, Bill. Sometimes, if I repeat it back in my own words, the person agrees; other times, they point out what I misunderstood. It was all offered in the hope of increased clarity of communication. I've never even attempted one of these, but...

Re: Andrea Santini shows how to cut a scale

Cut the slot with a circular saw blade or cut-off disc. Drill a hole through the slot and cut the remainder of the slot with the saw. Use a regular saw blade. If I am understanding correctly, he means cut the full length of the slot from the under side of the scale, but don't go through. At the bot...

Re: Andrea Santini shows how to cut a scale

Is one of these wheels the kind you use? http://www.proxxontools.com/store/pc/viewCategories.asp?idCategory=45 I haven't found any that are skinny enough for a safety slot. http://www.proxxontools.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=245&idcategory=45 Of course I'm just guessing here, but the above i...
