Button Pusher - T

Hi Gang, After we had a disagreement, the war department (my wife) told me “You are a button pusher, you sure like pressing peoples buttons, don’t you”. And all of a sudden the light came on in my head and I came up with this Idea for a T shirt. Dig the monster severed arm holding the Switch Blade. ...

I had a similar question a while ago. The topic was "What do they feed cows in Brazil? Scales/Handles" or you can copy and paste

I think that will get you there.

Re: Bargeon Scale Repair Question.

Dang, nice patch job. I'm a few months late to this thread but I had to say that. And I agree with Autoknife, as much as this one looks like a guardless Bargeon, I am pretty sure it was made by a different French maker. It has a number of notable differences, especially those scales. The checkered ...

Re: Rare French Knife? Flash Deposited

I am not sure why this knife is called a “Flash” this post, but the two I own are an early tab release Eclair model with the standard, deteriorating celluloid (plastic) handles of the era, made in the 1960s by Sannajust, a large French knife company that has gone out of business. The "stainless" ma...

Cool, does the blade lock in the open position?
Would be nice to get a close up of the blade.

Hi Ian,
I picked up one of these a while ago. Mine came with the original plastic bag (not in photo) and instruction sheet.
Nice knife! Hope all is well, Cheerio mate.

Re: Bargeon Scale Repair Question.

Nice job! That's nickel silver, not brass, BTW. Thanks Bill for your help and suggestions, Now I know what nickel silver bolsters look like. I did not realize that nickel silver can tarnish to look like old brass. I was kind of supersized how shiny the bolsters came out after buffing, now I know why.

Re: Bargeon Scale Repair Question.

Hi Gang, I finally got around to repairing the "NO name Bargeon" using the J-B Weld 50139 Plastic Bonder Body Panel Adhesive I filled the crack and was able to sand and buff. It came out half way decent, but if you look close the black is not exactly the same as the scale.I cleaned it up and polishe...
