Welcome aboard bayne! Sorry, but I'm not familiar with the CIA Eliminator knife your asking about. As far as the Halo clones, they have been pretty scarce lately and I really don't know anyone who has them for sale at the moment.

Dicks right, I have about 20 sets of Whitetail antlers in my basement of deer I have got including a couple record book sized. Most just don't have the gnarly texture of the India and sanbar deer. Even right at the base, most seem to have a smoother texture than the other stag usually used.

BladeHQ has a few depending on color under 300...A grey for example is 235.80 (looks like the lowest priced) and the go up from there.

Back to the original thread topic because it was started almost a year ago and is quite old... I have heard nothing but good things lately from the guys who have recently bought the DKD Phantoms. Must be the early problems have been taken care of.

Sorry leighdog, I didn't mean to offend you in any way. Most of us love Italian knives (myself included), or we wouldn't be here. I was just stating my opinion that sometimes you get some knives from Italy, and you have to wonder if the pride is still in the product, or if a rush to get them made is...

Not sure if I can agree with that anymore. There are plenty of Italian knives that probably should have never left the cottage.
