Re: Best quality traditional Italian switchblade?
Maybe we can get this thread going. My experience is basically with Beltrame and now a Renzo Pascotto. I’ve got my eyes set on a Walt’s Latima next! Obviously Picklock Pat are possibly the benchmark of the finest? I’m looking for tight fitting scales, liners, etc tight lock up, tight buttons and bea...

Stain.
I have a couple knives with a little staining from life on the coast.
I’m assuming you’d try to buff out with some fine sand paper then buffer...
The part that concerns me it the horn scales while sanding and buffing.
Do I need to take other steps to not damage them?
Thanks

In a previous message I’d mentioned Due Buoi knives .

Re: Due Buoi switchblade
Yeah that’s what I’m talking about!
Love the solid bolsters, tight lines, tightly fitted scales. In the pictures I see of them, there have fine attention to detail.

Due Buoi switchblade
The Due Buoi switchblades, are they good?
Are they still around?
I like the Forged Sitletto.
Don’t see many on the secondary market...

Loose safety on a Frank B
What’s the process to tighten up the safety on a Frank B?
It will slide “Opened/Closed” turning the knife upsidedown...
Is there an easy repair?
Thanks
Chad
