No thats the Lever unless your looking at the top picture Gort posted then it's the button. It's round not oval though. Now the second pic he posted has that thingie up near the top bolster thats the lever but it isn't oval it looks more like a stirrup without any opening. The oval would be on anoth...

Claudester Off hand it doesn't have a red dot safety. Also on the button side of the blade does it say Rosterfi in fancy scripted slant going up at an angle and on the other side does it say Patent? I know they were made from the late 50's into the seventies. Didn't you just buy an older one a month...
