Re: Imitation Horn
I'd be willing to bet Thelma Lou enjoyed more than an "afternoon" with the boys.

That's a neat piece. I really like the horn and appreciate its age. Thanks for sharing.

Re: 4-1/2″ Auto Bold Action® III Stiletto Black Aircraft Aluminum Black Blade
Mine came 2 days ago. This knife is fairly well-made from Alabama. The Sandvik steel took a wickedly-sharp edge, and the bayonet blade is particularly pointy (and quite dangerous)! The knife isn't heavy and is quite enjoyable. :) I consider this piece to be a convenient knife to carry in to the "rou...

Re: Boker Lundquist Alluvial Black Aluminum Automatic Knife
It arrived today and I couldn't be more pleased. This is a wonderful addition to my carry rotation. Light, quick and sharp. a great drop point that will hold an edge. (D2 seel isn't half bad).
Two thumbs up, Boker... TWO THUMBS WAY UP!

Re: Boker Lundquist Alluvial Black Aluminum Automatic Knife
Nice looking knife and I thought pretty hard about buying one but that's all that I need, another knife. My edc is a Boker Kion but that's subject to change at any time, made in Taiwan and it's more politically correct than buying Chinese. You keep telling yourself that. (Yeah, that'll work). :wink...

Re: Inox Wandy shell puller
1950-60s knife. Let Bill fix it Tom is right. This knife is an artifact from the mid to late 1950s. It is best preserved by a professional. This tool should have seen lots of use in a shooter's range box or in a backpack of a hunter using a shotgun. He would use it for cleaning fowl and small game....

Boker Lundquist Alluvial Black Aluminum Automatic Knife
This knife has a sleek 3.125" blade of D2 steel. I bought it on Grindworx for $54.99. This knife is a real "workhorse". At 3.11 ounces, it is relatively light and is a wonderful testament to both Boker's durability and ingenuity. I believe that this is the "golden age" of automatic knives real "work...

Re: Walt's Latama.
Nice "user". You just have to love where automatics are going. The modern "working/user" auto is taking us back to the thrilling days of yesteryear when automatic knives were considered tools, instead of "thug equipment".
That's a sweet bit of kit.

Re: New switchblades
Latama is far more expensive but has a better build quality. (I have yet to see a Latama that wasn't nearly flawless). I have some very nice Frank Beltrame pieces, but I tip my hat to Latama for making some of the most beautiful Italian Automatic Knives that aren't custom-built (bespoke) for the mos...

Re: AKC X-treme ACE Automatic Knife
My ACE arrived from the "Around Town Brown" (UPS) delivery at 12:15 PDT. I am THRILLED with this knife! At this price point, the knife is absolutely marvelous ! This is, to say the least, a FANTASTIC value for the dollar! I lubed the pivot point and the knife has already lost the "grittiness" that c...

Re: AKC X-treme ACE Automatic Knife
A lot of my knives are dust collectors! I never carry a knife I would hate to lose, accidents happen. He who dies with the most toys wins. I don't use a knife very often now that I'm retired so I usually carry a Boker Kal or a Ganzo now that automatic knives are legal in Indiana. Most people don't ...

Re: AKC X-treme ACE Automatic Knife
While I dearly love my Piranha "Virus", the AKC X-treme Ace Automatic Knife should prove light enough to tote about in my sports jacket pocket without anyone noticing. When it gets dull, I can whip up an edge quickly in "two shakes of a lamb's tail". This should prove to be a useful knife. (This is ...
