Re: 8" Coricama
Honestly I'd rather have an older knife that needed some TLC and got it, than an older knife that needed it and didn't. Love this knife man very jealous of you!

Re: Frank B Lmt Ed 9" Picklock
I second what Jules said... This Brazilian horn is to die for! If I may be so bold, I'd suggest these are better than Walt's 9'' pieces. All sit deep, kick hard as hell, no QC problems that I've come across with his (although to be fair, I'm notorious for having shit luck with stilettos LOL) Does Fr...

Re: **NEW** Commemorative Knife TO COME, Honoring Rick Giroux
Still want a Brazilian Sicilian, if signups close and you don't meet your quota nessesary for the order, I could order more. I'd need to know the total price first to totally commit to this though. Will stay tuned to see what the quotes are in the morning.

Re: Frank B Lmt Ed 9" Picklock
Here's the one I've got from the 2013 run... http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o179/maggot_016/20180925_202939_zpspteks1vh.jpg I'm a bit torn as to which one is my favorite - I am a big fan of swedge blades; personally I don't feel they get the love or attention they deserve. I don't like plain or ...

Re: Black Beauty on ebay
very few of them actually had the "black beauty" stamp ... I imagine any appreciable money to be had with this knife is in the stamp itself, rather than the functionality (or lack thereof) This is all assuming it's "real" of course... eBay is full of scammers and idiots. there's a Frank Beltrame 13 ...

I also signed up on off-topic; non-ring Sicilian all the way! Angelo should be able to do this etch... it's simple enough might cost 10 dollars more per knife but whatever.

Re: Signups for Rick Giroux Commemorative Knives
the RUDE, ANGRY way that she treated me online this morning, is not the way to win over any customer who is trying to respectfully do business with them. Breast surgery on none, I don't accept ANY excuse! Even FRANK is not friendly on the phone! YEP! Stick a fork in me, I am well-done!!! :| :...

Re: Signups for Rick Giroux Commemorative Knives
All of Walt's most recent runs have been N/S swiveling bolsters by Frank, he's definitely got them on hand / has the tooling... I guess my question is who on earth is making huge orders through him if Walt's run is finished and hitting shelves now? Perhaps 3knives is restocking itself? Almost all Fr...

Re: Walt's 23cm
just got the beautiful honey horn 23cm and it has the blade sticking up just enough to catch the skin of my finger when I run across it. PVK was excellent on the phone and will trade it out. They recommended a 28 cm and the blade sits nice inside. So I ordered one of those in pearlex. That's so gre...

Re: Commemorative Switch to Honor Rick Giroux
Don't see why red dot HAS to be unique to picklocks, it just seems like a feature that was lost to time and then brought back to sweeten the deal when limited picklock runs were made. Hell I just uploaded a pic of a swivel with a red dot... I think N/S and a red dot would make this run more special ...

Re: Commemorative Switch to Honor Rick Giroux
I'm thinking it would be a hybrid of sorts in that it would seem to be a cross between a picklock and a classic model swivel-bolster. Hope that this adds some further confusion, LOL! Like I said, perhaps this is the very first throwback to a transitional piece? I always knew this day would ...

Re: Commemorative Switch to Honor Rick Giroux
Okay all...just to show off my ignorance here: "Classic" suggests (to me), a swivel bolster. Nickel/Silver bolsters and red dot safety suggest (again, to me), a picklock. At the fear of complete ridicule, which one? Swivel Bolster - that should keep it on the cheaper side. N/S and red dot on a swiv...
