AGA Campolins For Sale (SOLD)
Hey everyone, been awhile since I've posted on TB. I was selling some knives on the auction site, but they've been having some technical difficulties. Figured I'd see if there's any interest here for a few I have. All of these knives are in excellent condition, stored carefully in the open position,...

Re: Blade Show West
Fishtail I'll swing by and pick you up. But I must warn you- I'll be traveling with several knives from Italy all of which are impractical for use. If that's a deal breaker then I understand.

Re: 7" Italian (Medici Style) Swinger
Those knives are awesome guys! I've seen that style before, but wasn't aware there was even a name for it. Nice curvature. I'm not usually into knives that small but those smaller swinguards are really neat.

Re: Original Black Beauty
Right now that thing is just a rostfrei that is a "black beauty" in the eyes of the beholder. He's thrown some chum in the water and the sharks are circling.
Let's see the front!

Re: Could someone explain the lack of enthusiasm?
Ha the movie Vacation provides a good analogy for what I'm saying.
I'd rather talk about this
instead of this.
And now I've got the damn theme song from that movie "Holiday Road" stuck in my head!

Re: Could someone explain the lack of enthusiasm?
For American made automatic knives? (Buck, Kershaw, GT, Bear & Sons, Gerber, et al.). What's the point of explaining the reasons and qualities of domestic knives if they don't garner any response? Ferraris/Lamborghinis/Maseratis of any type are more fun to discuss than Ford/Chevy/Dodge sedans, SUVs...

Re: 11" AGA 70th aniversary
That horn is awesome Thom! They are definitely good looking knives. Now if they made them in 33cm (13") it would be really nice. DonC The 13's came out this week: https://www.3knives.com/en/category/441/aga_classic_line_33cm-13.html Hopefully the horn on the 13's is as impressive as the 11's. The 13...

Re: Another Walt's 13"
Nice score Thom! I like how some of the pins are brass, it gives it a really cool contrast against the dark horn. I really hope to find one of these someday. Thanks for clearing up the mystery around proto vs. production and total number of pieces that were made. I believe this is the one pvk had ri...

Re: I Love My AGA Campolini Pick Locks
Whoa Don what's that one 3rd from the right? Is that a 2003 13" picklock in french tip?
All those are awesome by the way. You should be very proud. Hopefully the new 13" AGA's will be impressive as well.

Re: A Unicorn ?
Nice knife, Raimondo is desirable stamp. I'll leave it to the experts to comment on it further.
I will say that the site you mentioned is not a good reference point for current value of knives. Highly inflated in most cases.

Re: 13" Walt's Flatguard
Haha, Dave I have been known to overthink things once or twice before. I think what was causing confusion was I've never seen a Walt's 13 by RP that hasn't had his signature on it. These are the only ones I've seen: Yours (amazing, especially the dagger!) https://www.talkblade.info/viewtopic.php?f=5...

Re: 13" Walt's Flatguard
Those are really cool! Have some questions: The blades and safeties are different on these. Were they made in different years? All of these Walt's 13's by Renzo Pascotto are prototypes? They were never production knives sold on Walt's site? How much $ were these when they were first available? Any ...
