i like them to,but the last couple have a strange sound when the open kinda like a twanging or vibrating sound. my others dont. any ideas why?

those bolsters are for the 50 anniversary knife for frank i don't belive they'll become avualable. sterling can hold up quite well but is not scratch resistant. if ya want to make silver bolsters jewelry or anything there's a product called artclay. you can mold or shape it into anything you'd like...
