Re: F Beltrame Switch'-generation model
Well, this input has convinced me that this model is not a collectible item. The zinc alloy concerns me more than anything. I like to collect quality items and avoid "example" items such as China made, etc. To me, the Switch'-generation model would fall into the "example" category.

F Beltrame Switch'-generation model
Here is something that I find interesting: The Switch' Generation model (manuf. 2005?)made by Frank Beltrame. The scales are attached with screws. The scales are ABS instead of acrylic. The bolsters are zinc alloy instead of SS or titanium. The different scales offered in these models (21 & 23cm) wo...

Re: WTB: 11" bayonet blade, black acrylic stiletto
I have looked at Frank Beltrame .pdf catalogue and he has offered this knife in the past. I am now irritating Sara with emails requesting instructions on how I might obtain a 11" bayonet scaled with black plastic. I imagine that what is available is solely dependent on what our U.S. importers/distri...

Re: WTB: 11" bayonet blade, black acrylic stiletto
Now that's what I am talking about! Do you reckon that a manufacturer would make a custom knife scaled in black acrylic upon special request?

Re: Renzo Beltrame 28cm, bayonet, swivel bolster
Chris, I am still in the research stage with switchblades. I have been acquainted with the collecting bug. I collected Luger 1900 American Eagle pistols for years. I had some pristine examples. They financed my two daughters through graduate school. i also collected hunting/training sporting dog boo...

Re: Renzo Beltrame 28cm, bayonet, swivel bolster
Received my Renzo Beltrame 28cm bayonet blade, swivel bolster, imitation pearl stiletto today. It is stamped "Stiletto" over "Italy". I purchased this stiletto from Adams International Knifeworks. It is a handsome knive. I will post some pictures whenever I get a chance. Thanks to JulesVane for his ...

WTB: 11" bayonet blade, black acrylic stiletto
Would like to buy a 28cm bayonet blade stiletto (Latama or F Beltrame) with black acrylic or ebony wood handle. Factory edge blade. I have little interest in the gold plated blade or tactical models.

Figli di Sicilia?
What is the quality and craftsmanship of Figli di Sicilia (Sons of Sicily) knives? Are they worth acquiring or they lacking? Is this a manufacturing company or cooperative? Does the quality vary according to type or size of knife?

Renzo Beltrame 28cm, bayonet, swivel bolster
Just ordered a Renzo Beltrame 11", swivel bolster, bayonet blade, imitation pearl switchblade. I was very pleased with the Frank Beltrame knife with faux ivory scales that I received a few weeks back and am very curious to see what type of knife Renzo creates. Hopefully, this will not be a regretted...

Re: AGA 28cm Classic picklock bayonet pearlex
I never knew that such quality stilettos existed until recently. During my lifetime, all of the switchblades to which I was exposed were cheap Japanese or Chinese knives. Those were slim handled, 9" or so knives. It will be interesting to see what Campolin has to offer this summer in the way of 28cm...

Re: AGA 28cm Classic picklock bayonet pearlex
Taking pictures of pearlex is difficult for me. What looks beautiful to my eye becomes a blinding/glaring picture. These pictures submitted here do not do justice to this knife.

Re: AGA 28cm Classic picklock bayonet pearlex
Home from the office this evening and found that I have received my AGA Campolin 28cm, bayonet blade, faux MOP scales, picklock, 1947-1917. I did not know how I would take to the pearlex scales, but am thouroughly converted to loving this knife. It is very handsome. I will post pictures of my new st...
