Internet, at last!
On, or about, July 25 my DSL connection failed. I have been without connection until this evening. Which was bad because I needed to post about a re-handle of a knife by a forum member. Troubleshooting on the phone with a tech. Purchasing a new modem upon his suggestion. Receiving the modem and find...

Yes, I was able to purchase a knife from a forum member, and I am happy with it.

Re: AGA N/S tarnish
Renaissance Wax might do a good job on this. It is widely used on metals in museums, collectible guns, etc.

Re: Need Custom Re-scale
A forum member has offered his skills to re-handle this knife and he is now in possession of the knife and plastic. After he finishes reworking the scales, we will celebrate the work on this forum (if he is willing to give permission to show his work).

Re: I am stunned by filework
How often am I supposed to use my Italian Stiletto switchblades? I guess I have been a slacker.

Re: Knife Shop.com
From what I understand, Knife Shop fills its orders through Beltrame. The item number I ordered (be2839b) was filled by Beltrame with a different design with the same number (be2839b). I can understand Knife Shop's situation in this deal and it is not enviable. Their website has now been updated for...

Re: Knife Shop.com
Well, I feel that I need to update this forum concerning my interaction with Knife Shop.com. I have tried my very best to remain mad at this store, but they are making it very difficult. Martin, with Knife Shop.com has corresponded several time with me and offered various generous remedies to this u...

Re: Need Custom Re-scale
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, I will be reading this forum to glean what I can about re-scaling the handles. I am going to order some tortoise shell acrylic to see what shades are available and how thick the material must be for the knife. By the time I get this knife to my liking there will be seve...

Re: Need Custom Re-scale
I was hoping one of those men would jump in, offer their skills, and take on this project. I am beginning to think that I have embarrassed myself by posting in an inappropriate section of the forum. Let me re-try this thread over in the "Buy and Sell" section.
Thanks, Bill.

Re: Need Custom Re-scale
Would it be more convenient if I supplied the acrylic tortoise shell?

Need Custom Re-scale
I have just received a Frank Beltrame 11" stiletto. I am unhappy with the scales on this knife and would like to have it re-scaled with acrylic tortoise shell. Would like to have excellent craftsmanship and a couple of beautiful sections of acrylic tortoise shell.
Please PM me.

Re: WTB: Display stand
The amount of storage will probably keep me happy for a while. After seeing the displays posted here, I can see that there are quite a few possibilities which are attractive.

I do not know why you would want to torment your eyes, but here is the flip side. it is much uglier in real life.
Also two of the brass pins have very sharp burrs that snag your fingers whenever you run your finger over them.
