I had an old Presto paratrooper that my Dad had given me. Wish I wouldn't have lost it .

Until gunner mentioned his warped scale problem, I had never heard anyone have anything bad to say about the V&D. Most people love them for a EDC. Another knife you may want to check out is the new Lone Wolf Double duty......It will be 50 bucks or so more expensive.

The book Antique American Switchblades by Mark Erickson has no mention of the Edgeco Company that I am aware of.

When I talked to Stu a couple weeks ago, he said that they were no longer being made and that he was out. But it doesn't hurt to double check.
