The last pair of scales I was working on, I sanded all the way down with 800 grit. I tried to buff with a wheel chucked up in my drill press and maybe it isn't speedy enough because it just seemed to give a cloudy effect.

Trust me collectall...Most of the members here are nice when it comes to cheaper stuff. There are forums out there where they will hunt you down and kill you just for mentioning them :lol:

I must admit, I occasionally buy what some consider junk. I think the debate is more so where the knives come from, than really what the overall quality is. Lets face it, you normally get what you pay for, though sometimes you get a good screwing.... :wink:
