3rd blade (I need a better subject line..lol)
Gentleman:
Well For some reason I thought I was going to make a fixed blade but was side tracked by another auto. Here are some pic's from the start. I will update as I go. This endeavor is completely from scratch, o1 steel, 6160 aluminum handles. If anyone has input please feel free.

Second Knife
Gentleman: Just a quick post to show the auto I was working on. Its built off of an old cheap stiletto, I only used the blade and kicker spring. The blade is about 20 years old, I got on a trip to Tijuana. It broke not long after that but I kept it, now 20 years later the blade rose from the ashes t...

Re: First Knife
Thanks for the kind words, compared to some of the blades I've seen on here it pails to compare.
The OAL is 9 1/2 ''
thickness is 1/2''
blade length is 4 1/2 '' x 1/8'' thick
Its a simple slip joint nothing complicated. I started work on a coil spring stiletto will keep ya'll posted.
Thanks

First Knife
Gentleman (and lady's if there are any) this is my first post but I have been coming here for quit some time. I marvel over the craftsmanship I see posted and feel inspired to do the same. Since I was a young boy I loved knives and had one since I was 7. ( times were different back in the late 60's)...
