Re: Hubertus Stamped Shellpuller
I didn't see this one the first time around, Jim. Great score on a beautiful knife. That's a keeper for sure.

Re: leverlock
Nice score, Peter. I had a couple old-fashioneds (aka slimlines) several years back that had plain blades (including one like yours), but the newer ones all seem to have a swedge.

Re: Boker Tree Brand
Very nice group. I like that green one and the bottom one. Boker must've made dozens of different scales on these through the years. I have three 712s and a 715 but no R's. Wish I had a few more.

They're horn. I've always liked these knives too. I got lucky and scored two of 'em last week. Not sure when they were made. 60s? 70s? The blade stamp on mine is Rostfrei.FreeTheArmy wrote: Are the scales plastic or horn? These little guys really appeal to me.
Thanks for sharing, partner.

Another Little Italian Lockback
A buddy of mine offered me this one and I couldn't say no. It's dead mint, looks brand new. Cool double-swedge blade. Swirly Little Italian Lockback
Got this one from the auction a little while back and sent it directly to Smallfoot for a new spring and a lot of TLC. Dick has a magic touch because this knife looks amazing. He described some of what he did, and all I know is he did a lot of work and it turned out great. Interestingly, this one's ...

Re: A new Maniago
They're both mine. Crappy picture from a while back. I'm not sure anyone can answer your question as to specifically who made or makes the Medicis. There've been several runs of them over a number of years with slight variations.JimBrown257 wrote:Are those your Medicis or is that just a picture you found?

Re: A new Maniago
...So what qualifies as a Medici; does it have to be a swinger? Besides for the top bolster and absent guard, that one looks just like a Puma Med. Well, actually the bottom bolster looks similar to an Italian Medici auto, not a Puma Medici. The knife on the top is a Puma Medici, a manual folder. Th...

Re: A new Maniago
Jarvis who made that knife? And is that a Medici? I've seen that exact "rostfrei" stamp on a few different blades recently (same font printed diagonally). Are all the knives that have that stamp made by the same manufacturer? I have no idea who made it. I've been told it's circa 60s some time. It's...
