That was a day to remember. Wifey was outside sweeping the sidewalk when it hit. She immediately noticed the undulating pavement and waving telephone poles. She pointed out these manifestations to some panicked drivers passing-by. These things I did not see as I was inside comforting a semi-hysteric...

Believe you are confusing "Black Widow" with "Black Beauty". The BB was a true switchblade that according to their ads "Opens with Supersonic Speed". However, due to the 1958 knife law, it became a manual opener that "Closes with Lightning Speed!" I think I know which version is the more desired... ...

In knighting, the Queen followed long standing tradition and made use of a sword saying, "I dub thee Sir _____" (fill in the blank). She did not actually wear said blade, as a sword tended to clash with her wide brimmed Royal Headgear. Even in uniform, she wore no sword for doing so is difficult rid...
