Re: Removed
Scotchman Ive been out of sorts lately, as have a few of the people i have great respect for here. Having yourself "removed " like a bad tattoo or something seems a little extreme ,maybe things will pick up in the near future ,and you can just leave the door open to return. Seriously though I hope t...

I have never looked into the Americans as much as i should have and to see the different types and them all laid out like that ...just stunning. A great learning tool for a layman in American switches. It is as Julesvane said really amazing...

Re: Ka-Bar!
Hombre I love the kabars but ageing them is quite difficult. I read once that the rarest earliest ka bars had a red spacer just above the guard ,this dated that particular knife to 1942. There are many forums that deal with fighting knives ,militaria that will have the info you need but ageing some ...

Re: Expendable Eagle
Dave I really love what you and Duke have accomplished with this knife. I love the stag and the guard and the blade is beautifully polished giving this knife a much more handmade look than when you first got it. Tbh i would easily miss the expendables knife if browsing through a knife catalogue but ...

Re: Stag indian ?leverlock
Thanks to Ken identifying the little leverlock as one that was made in Iran, i looked them up and found it was probably made in Zanjan . I found a few lovely knives made by local craftsmen there and thought it would be good to post them here as a future source of knowledge if anyone comes across the...
