Re: How many times a week you give your collection a look?
Collection is too big, it would take a week to unwrap half of them. Back when we had an 8ft slate pool table, I would lay this tan padded quilt that would cover the whole table. I would lay a goodly portion out, every time I bought a new knife. Rare stuff is wiped clean and in baggies. A shoebox of ...

Re: Three Shur Snaps
I like the cream color. . . I don't have any of this particular style. I have a few double enders, and "Snappys", and the "Fishing knife toothpick" a bunch of Shure Snaps with the ears, and two cigar jacks. My favorite Americans are those little cigar jacks with the pearl paper shell wrap. I like ho...

I suspect a different importer requested the specific tang stamp
I see INOX . .maybe Italian ?
I see Rostfrei . . .I think German or Dutch . .
I see Inoxia/ IHER . . .it's on my Spanish Toledo lever action.
So I suspect "SPRINGER". . .is exclusive to German importers.

Re: Raimondo picklock
I have a 9 inch Raimondo that is fairly thick, and has the violin bottom shaped picklock lock plate on the backspring. It has a light horn front scale and a greenish white back scale. . .and is sort of slow to flick open. Somebody had once told me that Raimondos (at the time in the 1950's) were rare...
