Re: 10” Campolin
I'm hunting one myself, so if anyone has one feel free to PM me. It must be the season! Victors, have you tried PM'ing Frosolone, I believe he is the seller and Sammy was just helping answer your question. It's always best to send a PM. Click on Contact under Frosolone's avatar to do so. I'd bet it'...

Re: Help on id a frank b 11 stiletto
Couple of nice lookers for sure. It's funny, I always have liked wood furniture on such rifles, just looks more sophisticated to me than the tactical black look. Back in the proverbial day, I chased down a set for the HK-91. May or may not have added a bit of weight but it seemed to add a note of cl...

Re: Back burner project
Anyone who may be interested in one of these be aware that they are HEAVY! I'm sure nobody on the forum would carry one of these as an every day carry but you never know. Very heavy, indeed. I picked up one of the 13 inch variety last year and it's easily as heavy as one of my Campolin batwings, ma...

Are those genuine FN-FALs or clones? I always liked their style. A bit like the HK-91, all business and built rock solid!
Peace.

I can't tell you anything about the metal's reaction in regards to coloring but I can say that I like it!
The contrast between the scales and the bolsters as it sits now compliment each other very well. Very cool work brother!

Hey Kris, thanks for the posting. I had never seen one with serrations so I learned a lot here!

Re: Help on id a frank b 11 stiletto
One of the scariest images I've seen of late, indeed. Makes me want to pull out a loupe and start going through all my knives. Seriously, the fact that someone out there would market a knife as such, even when you consider "picklock conversions", and their tool of choice is industrial glue instead o...

Re: Latama's New Offerings
The prices have become steeper, for sure, but then I look around and it seems to be the trend for most things these days. It's all supply and demand too. Less are being offered so if you can't live without it, you skip a meal or two. Myself, heck, I'm losing weight thanks to that logic. So that's my...

Wow, amazing pieces, indeed.
Do not sell them, is my advice, especially the 120 year old Beltrame, that's an heirloom and should be held onto in your family. It's spectacular! Most definitely a museum piece!
Thanks for sharing.
Peace.

I also use the desiccant packs. I keep my knives in these plastic sleeves and then populate the drawer with the packets, inside a climate controlled environment. The longest stored with no issue are these two EdgeCo knives I've mentioned before, and that's been 30+ years in the plastic, at least, Th...

Wrapped in Plastic - Stiletto Storage Question...
I would like to toss a question into the massive depth of knowledge I have found here on TB. Honestly, I trust most of everything I've read here in regards to metals, scale mediums, etc., when it comes to stiletto collecting. And the information I've learned here is sincerely appreciated. Now, onto ...

Re: Green Diploma
I think the lesson with most things collectible, especially with edged weapons and firearms, etc., is the older stuff was almost always made so much better. Newer models are always cut-costed and often made with less metal or quality of metals to save money, and punched out on machines for mass cons...

Re: My Latamas
Those are some sexy stilettos for sure. I almost grabbed one of those customs when they first landed this year. I had signed up to be notified when new knives are available and got lucky one night. I was checking my email, which I'm not very regular to do, and there was the notification email with a...

Re: Help on id a frank b 11 stiletto
I've seen this knife, or a cousin, on ACK. The title said picklock and in the description it was stated that they were aware it "looked" like a swivel bolster but were adamant that it was, in fact, a picklock. At first I had wondered if it was a picklock that somebody may have used a slanted scale o...

Re: Vintage Black Widows
Wow. That's a beauty for sure, Peiper! I love those big boys. Unfortunately, the only 13" picklock I own is the AGA flat-guard wasp I acquired from you, sir. And it's only unfortunate in that I have just the one but it's extremely fortunate to have that specific one!! Almost an exact year ago, if I ...
