Re: PICTURES DO NOT LOAD IN ORDER! PLEASE HELP!

Attached pictures are difficult or impossible to control. If you edit the post and shift the order, it breaks the links. Most forums recommend or even insist on attachments which puts them on the same server as the forum, but then are limited to four or less for a total file size which seems to vary...

Re: Nickel silver bolsters

On nickle-silver or brass Simichrome is great, but it exposes new high shine metal which oxidizes more readily, so seal immediately with Renaissance or shoe polish (and yes only the price seems different.) For stainless, like bla...

JimBrown257, Variations on a Theme

When I drew this up I knew I wanted two knives, one for a friend, and one for me. I got the first knife, the dagger in buckeye burl. Before Jeremy started on the second one there was an ongoing discussion about the design theory behind Kris bladed knives and some very interested perspective on how t...

Re: Left handed sear help

Incorrect, Dave. There has to be an angle on the sear to clear the spring and blade. That angle is exactly the opposite on a left-handed knife. Re: Left handed sear help

There is no difference in a left and right handed sear, you just have to mount to the other liner and put the sear hole in the other side of the blade, or drill the hole all the way through the blade.

https://www.talkblade.info/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=24232 I wrote this quite a while ago. I'm using Imgbox instead of Photobucket now as they began to charge. Take a look at one of my recent posts with pictures and hit the double quote ("). This will let you see how it's used. You can copy and paste any...

Re: Another Havlin

Both are gorgeous and you and I are both intimately familiar with both Master builders. I actually prefer the lighter scales on the PLP, but that's like saying I like redheads and you like blondes! I'm certain Lucio DiBon provided the scales for both knives. The RP has hundreds of years of tradition...
