Thanks for the recommendations. I'll look for the brands mentioned. I'm likely to look at a bunch of them, prob all cheap knockoffs this summer. Wondering what to look for other than brand name. I've never actually ever even had one in my hand. I suppose sharp blade and not *much* play would be a go...

I don't own a balisong, but thinking I might like to get one.
How can you tell a good one? Other than price I mean.

Rostfrei means "rust free" similar meaning as "stainless". Not a company marking. Hard to say what your knife is without a picture but I will take a wild guess and say it is an Italian made stiletto. Thanks guys. I think I might just like it here. Lots of cool stuff. Does everybody else buy most all their blades off the internet? I suppose for the name brands, and Italians I guess, quality is not an issue. I really like handling the knives before buying them. I feel like a kid in the candy store...
