Happy Birthday to each of you guys :!: As I had no advance warning, I have yet to buy appropriate gifts. Let's see, Arthas, how about a nice set of Ginsus? For Spotlight, wouldn't you really like a new electric shaver? Let me know your thoughts and I'll get right on it  Happy Birthday again.......

A buck a round for the 50 does not sound at all out of line. Not exactly a Blue Light Special, but reasonable. I've got to check out what might be going on in Nevada or Arizona, two Class III states that have a more open view on these matters.

I curious having never attended one of these (and I never will in the State of CA).

Just who pays for the ammo? This could get expensive. The MG-42 has an exceptionally high rate of fire, so you could burn through a lot of 8mm in no time. As for the 50BMG, forgetaboutit :!:

Greetings Gents: My daughter in-law took my grandson to the pediatrician the other day and while filling out the necessary forms there was this question on the form. ARE THERE ANY GUNS IN YOUR HOUSE? WHATS UP WITH THAT? The AMA is rabidly anti-gun. Some docs even go so far as to encourage parents N...

Ken, No, it's not an Italian name. "Switchblades of Italy" notes that the company was apparently named after the American Indian as they used a Chief's profile in their tang stamp. The book also notes that they actually didn't make any knives but merchandised those made by others in the way Latama d...

And before too long you can get a 110 with NS bolsters and choice of horn in an auto conversion from one of our Good Guys, Mr. Swinguard. The price looks reasonable as well.

It just gets better and better :!:

As I understand it, "I" and "J" are pretty much interchangeable in this situation.

Now that I think on it, "Jndiana Iones and the Last Crusade" looks really weird.

In truth the answer to that has gotta be the terrific steak knives I won at the Company picnic 25 years ago. Thick, high quality Japanese stainless blades with teak handles and brass fasteners. Still sharp to this day. In the hand they feel natural as can be while they glide through a nice big juicy...

Msr. Jacque Noir, teq is in Florida for All Hallows Eve festivities and will not be back until Nov 1st. I don't blame him for not sticking around there until Nov 2nd, too damn many chads in the wind....but I digress. Do you want to post a simple/easy one to take up the slack until then? The Ole Fran...
