Re: what do I have here?

Thanks for answering the question on where you got the big one. Where did you get the Rizzuto? What state are you in? I will post a link to the law for you.

Never saw the "X" as a part of the Inox spelling. Is the "X" after the word Inox is fully spelled out?

Re: what do I have here?

The 13" is worth anywhere form $60 to $100 and the X is a stamp I have not seen before. The Japanese Rizzuto is worth $75 up ( unless your Al, then you would have over paid by $35)....You got a great deal on both! Did you get them at a show????

Re: Ordering a OTF from Blades HQ question

The law requires the SELLER to comply with the law, and they often ask you to fill out a form to show they did a "best effort" to comply with the law. There is a remote chance that you could be considered to have "conspired" to commit a crime with the seller if both the seller and buyer agreed to il...

I had a dozen of the 10 1/2" Bell metal ones and 6 of the 9" ones. I traded them all away years ago...wish I had kept one of each. At the time they seemed to cheaply made to me. There was a direct importer call KoAmerican Imports on 6 th ave in NYC that had them direct form Bell metal in the early 1...

Re: Open or Closed, best way to store?

I have to agree with Bill 100% here. I have knives for 38+ years that I have stored closed and I have never had a spring break yet. The only springs I have ever had break yet was the tiny Italian key chain models that I opened 1,000 times in an hour and the springs broke....I also had seen the same ...

Re: Can anyone ID this one for me?

Bill is as always right! Yes a real Italian. It looks by the angle of the picture to be a short bladed model made for the blade lenght restriction in Germany. It is a somewhat rare stamp. Worth $50.

Re: Weapon of mass destruction ??????????????????

I think I have seen some of the weaker ones you are referring too. I have not been into fireworks too much for about 10 years now. Do they still make the old M-80s, ash cans, cherry bombs or block busters ( also called pineapplees)? The last powerful ones I remeber were called bird bombs that were u...

Re: Weapon of mass destruction ??????????????????

The press keeps referring to "M-88" salutes as the firework. I know of the old M-80s that were fairly powerful. Is there a M-88 of is this a press error?
