Re: J&R Dodge Juste Judicato - double shear steel carving knife
The knife really is a delight to work with and it gets used at least several times a week for cutting various types of meat, as well as softer breads and large apple pies. It's kept sticky sharp freehand on a DMT red. Part of the ingredients for an old school beef stew: https://i.ibb.co/NS7skqs/GEDC...

Bird & Trout shank
Sometimes i remodel worn out or discarded meat carving knives into very narrow shank-like knives, which i then give away to certain Chefs & butchers. This old Swibo i did a few years back, and it has quickly become the favorite bird & trout knife of a local Chef. The rigid blade is hand convex groun...

Re: About grounding/earthing
My piece of copper weave cloth is in fact a piece of RF or radio frequency cloth i once bought on E-Bay for another project. It consists of nylon carrier weave with thin copper strands woven into it, and it lays under the normal bed sheet so there's no itching. While you can buy ready made earthing ...

Re: About grounding/earthing
This whole earthing thing sounded so ridiculous to me that i just had to try it out myself, and to my surprise the short term effects are very noticeable. I think this is typically something that everyone needs to investigate for themselves, or not. Internet info can be very entertaining and maybe e...

About grounding/earthing
When i first read about it i really thought it was all just nonsense. Then i tried it (the cheapskate way: by sleeping on a small piece of copper weave cloth attached to a bit of copper wire which is itself attached to a sanded bare section of our thoroughly grounded central heating system) From day...

Re: How bad is my batch ?
Today the hospital's sector chief pharmacist acknowledged to the pharmacy techs that there are currently way more young people (20's - 30's - 40's ) than usual getting prescribed Plavix (clopidogrel) -for life- to prevent blood clots etc. Now for old people getting prescribed these types of medicati...

Re: How bad is my batch ?
The hospital colleague of my wife who had to be reanimated directly after her first injection now knows a little bit more about what happened. The pharmacy lab still has some reserve, but they currently think that she had an anaphylactic shock in reaction to the Pfizer-BioNTech jab which contained m...

Re: The Berghof / Hitler's home - Scale model
The heavily bombed ruins were blown up in 1952 or 1953, as not to make it a shrine for Hitler worshippers. Personally i'm not convinced that sweeping things under the rug did achieve anything, in my book quality education is always the better option. Maybe it's unavoidable that history repeats itsel...

The Berghof / Hitler's home - Scale model
Several years ago i visited the Obersalzberg in Germany, the mountain where Hitler's home the Berghof once was situated. On location i also met a very friendly German fellow who told me that he was busy making a large scale model of the Berghof, and he even mailed me several pictures of his work-in-...
