These seem to have been a bit loose on my faux ivory Rizzuto. Is this a relatively quich and easy fix, as I suspect, or is there more to it than gently "flattening the pin" on it?
What say you Bill?

Is that why the dog in your avatar is howling? It looks as if he has a bad case of "hi-fido."jarvis wrote:I am most afraid of a man skilled with bagpipes or an accordion.Fishtail Picklock wrote:This is why I am more afraid of a man skilled with a knife than I am some individuals in possession of a firearm.

Re: I can tell you this.
I wouldn't want to be on the "receiving" end of either of those blades! Would you?! Scott what the f#ck ? :?: No threat was intended, whatsoever! Please don't misunderstand me! Butch had the right idea. Knives, of any kind, can inflict a great deal more pain and suffering than many b...

Oh, yeah!
That's a hot and tasty blade! I would love to see that resurrected in modern, more durable materials! That's French, isn't it? The rollmark on the blade appears to say, "war papers, Paris." Could you give us a bit more information about this piece of cutlery?
Thanks in advance.

Here is a picture of one of the new Korean "Rizzutos" next to a Frank B 11" swinger. Quite a difference... These Korean jobs are of smaller stature than that described by FTPL. Blade is 3.75" and handle is 4.75" for overall length (not including bale) of 8.5". These are real POS. I have both a Fran...

fishtail can you post a few pics 8) Sorry, no can do. (I have no digital capabilities.) The other thread about Rizuttos has an accurate picture. The only difference, is instead of a "pointed" type of guard, it has the forward "rounded" knobs at their tips. There is no lettering on the blades, excep...

Well, that'll teach me!
The Rizzuto knives were made in Japan, and then in Korea. Thank you for your response, and I appreciate this information, Bill! (I'd rather NOT go on looking like a fool by "parroting" erroneous information!) :!: Now I AM embarrassed! I STILL love these knives! I would like to correct...

Rizzuto Estileto Milano. Made in ?, purchased in Mexico!
Well, I have returned from my trip to Baja California Norte, Mexico. The bullfights on Sunday, September 7th in the Plaza de Toros Monumental on the Playa de Tijuana were memories that shall be cherished for a lifetime! Upon arriving on Avenida Revolucion, (Revolution Avenue) in Tijuana, I began sco...

Burn Custom Picklock
You, sir, are blessed to have such a fine piece of cutlery! :D I would like an 11" Black Beauty or 11" Swingguard with blades of D2 tool steel to "grace" my left side in a pouch! Something like that could work wonders as a backup to either my service revolver or Glock 20. Again, it is very nice! Scott

Italians always take long vacations this time of year. Us Americans are the fools that have to work our asses off 365 days a year. I know that I'll be on vacation soon (watching the bullfights in Tijuana BCN, Mexico.) I hope that when I come back that I can order one of their knives. (If I do, it w...

Has AB gone out of business?
I read on the "Cheap Swichblades" site that AB has stopped manufacturing automatic knives. Say it isn't so!
