Re: Leverletto display

The Dynamic Duo! Those are aswome,Roger does some fine work. The scales and screws he uses work great, especially the Tiger knife.
Love the display case too.

Re: Ever Wonder

Razor and I have the same sence of humor,I laughed pretty hard at some of these because a lot of them are TRUE! My garage is filled with my tools and every nut and bolt I ever came in contact with(because we all know we are gonna need those someday) I was just b*tching a while back about the h...

Re: My new additions

Very nice! I have a black horn AKC like yours and it has a hard snap and a distictive sound,a bright metalic 'click' where my Hubies have a deeper sound. Maybe it's the difference of brass vs stainless bolsters. Good job on these two new ones.

Re: Some Of My Stuff

Thanks everyone. It makes me proud to get compliments from you. I have this many more knives but these are the cream-of-the-crop. I noticed I did not post a pic of my Microtech UMS and Amphibian w/urban camo. Most of my other knives are trappers,whittlers,scout,camper,Case,Boker,Primble,Schrade,Buck...

Re: Railroad spike knife

I've made a few of those but, never though to take pics  I may make some more [sooner or later] There seems to be considerable variety in how well, different ones, harden/temper  They are NOT "all the same" :!: If you do make some I got dibs on one of the "First Production Run" :...

Re: Old straight razors

Very nice,I had a Puma many years ago but it was lost during a move.
I have an old bayonet made by the Weyersberg company.

Some people still like to shave with these things, they use the badger bristle brush and whip-up thier shaving lather and go to town.

Re: AK-47 U.S. equivalent?

Wow! I love this thread. I must agree with Vagrant on almost all accounts. If I were going to buy an AK it would be the Finnish Valmet with the milled reciever. Personally I love the Israli Galil best. It has a modified AK action but fires 5.56 or 7.62. I recently bought a Golani Sporter (after they...

I wasn't sure where to put this so I came to this section. The internet is a fascinating world to me,the new has never wore off and in the evenings I enjoy watching something on the History Channel and looking around on the i-net because we already know American television has gone to hell in a hand...

Re: Some Of My Stuff

This is the Linder but, it's $147.50 Euro plus S&H from the "Fatherland" http://images49.fotki.com/v1556/photos/4/133294/7534644/t178415Linder-vi.jpg That's a sweet looking knife but a bit pricey. I can't remember the exact cost but when I made a purchase from Mr. Ritter at Hubertus(500 min...

Re: Leverletto help

Regarding the lever flipping back to the locked position when closing: Maybe I'm just unlucky, but of the dozens of leverlocks I have owned only a couple would do that....Not that I try too hard because normally I press the button, or lever, when closing a knife because I think it reduces wear on t...
