Roger it wouldnt have to be CF, micarta or corian might work as well. I just would like to see some really different stilleto looks...........A2 Well...... I don't care much for micarta or corian, I really like the funky acrylic scales, so, I guess it's your turn to make something cool! :) :) :) :)

I've never had any stripping . http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc294/taxpaid/add%20ons/vacation.gif . issues. :D :o i think you have a couple of the knives I made with the smaller 1-72 screws. they do look small for the knife, but, they seemed to hold the scales tight. I use 2-56 for most project...

Roger can you do complete carbon fiber scales top to bottom, including top and bottom bolsters. I have never seen it done, but it would sure look different. I think carbon fiber would be strong enough for the swivel bolster, and you could use different color CF. A2 that would be pretty interesting....
