Check the domain registry, it may be expired. Someone pays the hosting bills, but forums run pretty much uncontrolled. The owner might have passed, and it continued to operate until the rent was past due.

Walt's has some and I think so does SD. You can get a 13" for about $75 or less if you aren't particular about scales. It might be worth tearing one apart just to use as patterns.
