It's a real Japanese Rizzuto. The bolsters are stainless, and are soldered to the liners. You have to remove the pins at the blade, rear, and center of the knife, then remove the pins holding the scales on. The scales will break. The problem with Hubertus knives IS the easily replaceable spring. Unless it is firmly seated, the blade won't open fully, and it can break the backspring.
