The MK1 pattern & Western L71 "Seabee" are indeed nice outdoor knifes. When I hike I usually have my WW2 Camillus MK1 with me.

One of Angelo's company is 3knives.com. Also, AGA, AKC, and Fox knives. BTW Very cool knife! Excellent, thanks! Just got another email from the guy, he has second one! :P From the pic it looks like it has rosewood scales. There are also a couple bird head switchblades with that strange blade engrav...

Info Request: Large Switchblade
I picked this up yesterday. It is ~17 1/4" long with lined bolsters, the scales appear to be walnut, and the mainspring is polished. The bolsters are quite strong, squeezing across the ears as hard as I am able does not deflect them at all. The blade is ~3/16" across the spine and the lock-up is tig...

Re: Difference between a switchblade and pocket knife?
Hi guys, Pocket knife-a folded blade that open manually by pulling out the blade with your bare hands.A switchblade only has a knife on it, and is spring loaded so it comes out really fast. It is essentially a weapon. Thanks a lot Chuck Doyle Chuck, are you trying out some new material before for t...

To me as well but my Othello looks that way from certain angles too and the blade is definitely short in the handle -john wrote:

Re: LL80 gravity knife question
Great thread to bring back to the top. I just bought an WMF version and await its arrival. The WMF logo really bugged me as I knew I'd seen it before. Then it hit me, it is all over much of the vintage stainless steel serving and barware I have. The logo accompanies the Cromargan brand on those item...

In an era of rising prices, it is commendable that he's been able to hold the line.
