Re: Found - Need Info

Pin through the guard is interesting, at least I think it's a pin.Does this still work as a switchblade?

Looks a good sturdy user ,but I like you would keep it as is with the price tag and rarity attatched to it .

Thanks for sharing it with us ..
Ian

Re: Walt's Latama.

Looks like several of the stars were involved with the development of this knife...Jerry, Bill, Walt, and those listed on the COA'.Image

Re: Walt's Latama.

Thanks for the link boots. That's the first site I have seen with them for sale. Even Walt's site does not have them listed.

Re: Walt's Latama.

It's a really nice knife Jim but with my arthritis I sometimes have trouble opening it. It's expensive enough that I wouldn't carry it anyway.
Thanks for the comments guys. If you want to see it opening go to "Artistic Switchblade" on facebook. There is a short video of it's action.

Re: New to me.

Jim, I have never really had an interest in modern stilettos. I was strictly into the old ones. I could never get over the fact that you were buying something "copied". If I buy, which is often, they are all modern designs.

I agree Tom. I have pretty much stopped buying. I guess it will help me eventually when I start selling.

Re: New switchblades

This year Walt had a brand new design. It won an innovative design award last year and this year he had some for sale. It's a sliding scale with a different activation mechanism than other sliding scales Very neat, but not cheap.

Re: Marfione at the flea !!

They do make a larger version of that knife labeled "Dirac Delta". Tony Marfione has an interesting history, including suing his son TJ. I buy some of his non-custom knives but buy custom knives from his son who owns Heretic knives. Btw there are knock-offs of most of Marfione's knives; https://www....

Something similar with a little fancier blade.
