Re: Questions About Ordering From 3knives
responding to emails is not one of their virtues as I mailed them several times for more details on a vintage knife in their antique section. On the other hand; I'm in the EU and they deliver fast. Unfortunately....other than Scandinavia and The Netherlands, English is not mandatory in the other EU ...

Re: Quality
from my opinion it seems to occur mostly with natural scales. When they came out of the injection molding machine (acrylic scales) the quality seems to be much better. The SKM knives I got from 3k lately, are stamped " made in Italy" and don't have any major flaws.

Re: two piece spring question.
It's the same as the advantage presented by a two-piece bathing suit..... it's easier to get into!
That was a terribly "politically incorrect" statement and I am deeply ashamed. Please don't picket my house. Thank you. It may be political incorrect but at least I can understand it. (;

two piece spring question.
by reading all the yahooing about a 2 piece spring I have one question. Is there any advantage over a one piece spring? Does it provide for harder fireing or is it just for historical reasons to make it period correct?
Thanks in advance.
