Brazilian Horn Polishing

Guys,

I am wondering what I can use to polish my Brazilian horn?
Is it possible to shine up the scales that seem a little dull compared to my other knives?

Thanks for your help,

Mike

Renzo Came Through !!!

Guys, I ordered an 11" brazilian horn stiletto, with a dagger blade, directly from Renzo Beltrame in Maniago. After a delay that was out of his control, he reshipped it again, and it arrived! It is absolutely beautiful! The coloring is awesome, and the craftsmanship is superb. Probably the best look...

Re: My new Shell Puller is getting stuck

I had a Hubertus Guardian that was brand new, doing that. I oiled it to no avail....then Bill DeShivs told me to wipe off excess oil, and put a small amount of automotive lithium grease on the tang, where the backspring contacts it, and work it in a few times. That knife about flys out of my hand, e...

Re: switch blade silicone

Guys,

My Hubertus Guardian would not open all the way after using WD40.
Bill DeShivs recommended a light application of automotive lithium grease on the pivot points.
It almost gets dropped when you fire it now, because it comes out so hard!!!

Re: Shur-Snap display card

My aunt & uncle had a general store in Fredonia Kansas, where I grew up.
They had this same display up high on a shelf, in 1957.
I wanted one of those so bad...... They never gave me one.....of course, I was 7 years old then.

Still wanting them today.....things never change!

Re: Anybody carry a knife for self-defense?

I legally carry a Ruger LCP for self defense, and a S&W spring assist knife as a tool. If I knew that I was going to need to defend myself in advance, I would carry the Beretta 9. I bought a Boker Klashnakoff at a store in Eureka Springs Arkansas recently. The store owner & I had self defense conver...

Re: Othello gravity knife

I was in Venice in 2005, and purchased an AB 11in. Switchblade with brass bolsters, and a damascus blade.
He had them in a special drawer, not on display, you had to ask to see them.
He said OTF were not legal to sell there at that time.

It's a really nice knife!

Re: KeyWestKnifeWorks

Ski is a great person to deal with. I have ordered several automatic knives from him, and have never been disappointed. His prices are good, and he even follows through with a phone call to make sure the delivery went well and that your are happy with the purchase. Key West Knifeworks will always ge...

The Eye Of The Needle

Guys,

In the movie The Eye Of The Needle, Donald Sutherland plays a German Spy, and his weapon of choice was a large OTF switchblade.
Does anyone know if it was a real knife, or just a movie prop?

It was a really good flick.

Take Care,

Mike
