Bill, is this better?Bill DeShivs wrote:The picture is of the entire knife, and the tang stamp is not plainly visible. It is not readable.
Regardless, I'm sure it is original. It's certainly not done with a Dremel.

Genuine Tang Stamp On This Italian Kris Stiletto?
So here I have an 11" Kris Blade Stiletto by Armando Beltrame. I wanted to know if what looks to be a hand etched stamp is genuine? Great knife that fires strong.
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

Re: bladeauction.net - New knife auction :)
Prices did go up...those around for awhile remember Stu711 as he basically sold wholesale to everyone. BladePlay was very cheap too! A few private sellers were also discount sellers ( Rick, Ala John).....I see many modern items offered on SD at fairly cheap prices and they don't sell....There is a ...

Nice, was that directly from AB in that box? Is yours numbered also?Jackalope wrote:I had one sort of like it. The handles on the one I owned were faux briar wood. It had a flat grind blade that was not damascus. It was worth about $60. Your is probably worth slightly more.

Re: A little help identifying 13" Stag
Thanks for the input John & Lance! It's a nice blade for sure! Opens smoothly & locks up tight. If it is a Frank B. that would be great! I have 2 AB's & wanted to add a FB into the mix.

If it's a knock off then they did a decent job on it.

Help in Identifying This "Italian"?
This is a coil spring opener I picked up recently. Not sure about origin or maker. I think Italian? Any info would be apprectiated. It's about 8 3/4". Highly polished mirror finish serrated blade. A couple of bug bites, I think it may have been dropped. Nice snappy action. The backside is stamped 44...

I thought so too Tom, thanks for your input. I just haven't seen that type of stamp for AB since this piece.

Limited AB 9"
This was my first, what I hope is real, Italian stiletto purchase about a year or so ago. Demascus bayonet blade with AB 2000 laser etched on front of tang with 05/50 etched on the backside. Not sure what material the scales are made from? She's tight for sure, no play, sits deep and right in the mi...

A little help identifying 13" Stag
This is one of four Italian pieces I've recently picked up locally. I just wanted to know maker possibly/authenticity? A value on it would help. Fairly new collector & I just want to make sure I purchase in the proper price ranges. On the back bolster side there is a full brass liner, the blade is p...
