Re: Found this on Ebay
I have one like that purchased in the late 1960's when I was a kid. Maybe I need to post it with a buy-it-now.

Re: 10" Hubertus Buffalo Horn
texans123 I remember a topic on these newer build hubies a while back. If I remember correctly even Bill warned of their poor construction and the one pictured on the topic looked like a chinese clone. I have seen similar for sale in Germany so keep your good hubies like that nice one above as it s...

Re: 10" Hubertus Buffalo Horn
Interesting Ian, and thanks. I'll look around for some discussions on this topic. The knife is a nice one, but just "not the same" when compared to the older pieces.

Re: 10" Hubertus Buffalo Horn
Thanks guys. A Blade Auction pickup from about 15 years ago. There was a seller that always had nice Hubertus for sale. I like the pieces without the nail nick myself. On another note, the last Hubertus I bought say 5-6 years ago was, in my opinion, not of the same quality, fit and finish. After I r...

10" Hubertus Buffalo Horn
Hi Gents -
Here is a 10" lever-lock I've had for some years. Nice scales, locks up tight and fires hard. One of the favorite Hubertus examples I have.

Re: C.JulHerbertz IMPORT2
texans123 Real sweet little knife and thanks for the pictures . 8) I think its a little bit later than the one I posted with stainless bolsters and the blade minus a swedge.,but not much later ,reminiscent of the Frank B knives of the 1970s. I really love the white pearlex and red dot on your examp...

Re: C.JulHerbertz IMPORT2
Hi Ian - here is the 7" C.Jul Herbertz Rostfrei I mentioned previously. My niece brought it by and I got a quick set of pics before the rains started. Not the best pics but OK. It's a nice little swivel bolster.

Re: C.JulHerbertz IMPORT2
Nice one! Is that a 7" Herbertz? I have/had one like it with lighter colored scales, and does have a red-dot safety. A niece liked it so I gave it to her, need to get it back for a few pics

Very nice survivor there. I had several of these with black and white scales. My Dad brought them back for me when he was on business trips and crossed the Mexican border for fun, when it was safe to do that. None lasted long as the springs always broke.

Re: Latama 13"
Thanks again guys. Panzerfaust, when you have time do post your 11" example. Rock-in-Roll, I did some searches here and it looks like your yellow horn 8" landed with fellow collector Redeye, he has cornered the Latama market and for good reason!

Re: Latama 13"
Thanks guys. Must admit that when I bought the knife I did not know the difference between a Latama and any other maker. Then, I did some reading online and eventually bought the "Switchblades of Italy" book. I just liked It as it was big, old and popped very hard.
