I really like the look of it ,looks razor sharp .ATS34 steel with a hawksbill blade .
Wonder if its purpose was for cutting parachute lines or seatbelts etc ?
I have never seen them posted here so thanks for the look ,definitely different to the norm .

LaneLander I cant help with a specific maker as they are usually stamped ,Latama Edwin Jay etc but I think this knife was made in" Maniago "Italy by the cottage industry that thrived there . However that Patent number could help pin it down a bit more to someone who has a better knowledge on these V...

One of the venezias I have personally never seen with that ringpull release . Scales are black horn ,bolsters nickle silver bayonet blade ,knife looks to be from the 1950s . Here is another type of a venezia stamped switchblade LaneLander
This one is a bobc( button open button close system ) that has the venezia mark with the Gondola .
I have one similar (top pic )but without the gondola stamp

Yes the.italian style switchblades definitely were Erik ,and Tarry Levigne added his mark .
Dont know about this style of knife though ,looks very French in appearance ,someone will know and tell us hopefully .
